Realistic vs. Unrealistic Expectations from Parents about the Athletic Recruiting Process

In my experience, I have seen parents of high students athletes have false hope in their child's athletic abilities.  Parents must understand that the recruiting process is truly a business for all involved including the college and high school coach.  I'm at a lost of words over how many times that I have seen parents overlook smaller college and universities in the hope of securing a D1 scholarship.
